The district is pleased to announce that Julianna Plunkett and Amanda Baker were selected as Mineola High School’s honorees at the 2025-2026 Nassau Zone Physical Education Awards Dinner, held at the New Hyde Park Inn.

The Nassau Zone Awards highlight high school seniors who excel in physical education and embody qualities such as commitment, integrity and leadership. This recognition reflects the outstanding effort and dedication both learners have demonstrated throughout their time in Mineola’s physical education program.
